Kingdom University is built for Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious students. Powered by Arizona State University, every program at Kingdom University is designed to the same academic standards as the equivalent degree taught at ASU in the United States.
When you graduate, you receive two degrees: one from Kingdom University, accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Education, and one from Arizona State University, recognized by employers around the world.
Requirements
Entry Requirements
Kingdom University welcomes applications from Saudi nationals, GCC nationals, legal residents of Saudi Arabia, and international students. All applicants must meet the following criteria.
Academic
- GPA above 80% of Saudi High School certificate or its equivalent awarded within the last 5 years.
- A proof of equivalency, by the Ministry of Education, of High School certificates issued outside Saudi Arabia or by foreign schools inside Saudi Arabia (including American Diploma, GCSE, and IB) must be provided by the applicant.
- Qudurat, Tahsili, or SAT tests are optional, but they will increase the strength of the application.
- Any additional requirements or interviews may be requested by the Admission Office as deemed necessary
English Proficiency above B1 level. Equivalent to:
- IELTS: 5 or higher, or
- TOEFL iBT: 45 or higher, or
- Duolingo: 85 or higher, or
- STEP: 66 or higher
High score on the English Proficiency test may result in a waiver of the Foundation English courses.
Residency
- Saudi National – National ID card required
- GCC Nationals – National ID card required
- Legal Resident of Saudi Arabia – Muqeem card required
- International Non-Resident of Saudi Arabia – Passport required

Program Structure
Program Structure for Fall 2026 Intake
In 2026, students at Kingdom University will be admitted to their major that includes the foundation year and a four-year degree program. The foundation year is a structured preparatory program covering English, mathematics, digital skills, and academic readiness.
Based on the current schedule it is estimated 25% of the remaining courses will be taught by faculty from Arizona State University. This is subject to change and students should refer to their study plan for further details.
For Fall 2027, students from English-medium schools, including international schools offering the American Diploma, GCSE, or IB, who meet specific requirements may request to be considered for an exception to the foundation year.

Check your eligibility
Review the entry requirements above and confirm you meet the academic, English proficiency, and residency criteria for your chosen program.

Prepare your documents
Gather the required documents: your high school certificate, Ministry of Education equivalency letter (if applicable), English proficiency test result, and your national ID, Iqama, or passport.

Submit your application
Complete the online application form at ku.edu.sa. The admissions team will review your application and aim to contact you within 5 working days to complete the process.

Receive your offer
Successful applicants will receive a conditional or unconditional offer by email. Follow the instructions in your offer letter to confirm your place and pay your deposit.

Enroll
Complete enrolment formalities, attend one of our new student enrolment events, pay your tuition fees, and get ready to start in September 2026.
