About Kingdom University

Kingdom University is located at 6693 King Abdulaziz Rd, Ar Rabi, Riyadh 13316, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Kingdom University is powered by Arizona State University. Every degree program at Kingdom University is designed by ASU and taught to the same academic standards as the equivalent program in the United States. Several courses will be taught by ASU faculty. Graduates receive two degrees: one from Kingdom University and one from Arizona State University.

Arizona State University has been ranked the most innovative university in the United States for eleven consecutive years by U.S. News & World Report (2016–2026), ahead of Stanford and MIT. W. P. Carey School of Business, Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, and Thunderbird School of Global Management at ASU are all highly ranked globally.

Yes. Kingdom University degrees will be accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Education. Graduates also earn a degree from Arizona State University, one of the leading public research universities in the United States.

Yes.  Kingdom University is an extension of the Kingdom Schools legacy, a commitment to delivering high-quality education in Saudi Arabia, now at university level.

Programs

Yes. English is the language of instruction for all programs at Kingdom University, in line with ASU’s academic standards.

All programs are delivered on campus in Riyadh, with the possibility of some courses being offered online. Details will be confirmed ahead of the September 2026 intake.

Not currently. Kingdom University’s initial offering focuses on undergraduate programs. Master’s degrees will be introduced in the future.

Admissions and Entry Requirements

Applicants must have a high school GPA of 80% or above (or equivalent). Certificates awarded more than five years ago are not accepted.

Yes. All applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at B1 level or above. Accepted tests include IELTS (5.0+), TOEFL iBT (45+), Duolingo (85+), and STEP (66+). Students with high scores may be exempt from Foundation Year English courses.

Yes. International certificates, including American Diploma, GCSE, and IB are accepted, provided the applicant supplies an official equivalency certificate from the Saudi Ministry of Education.

Kingdom University accepts graduates from previous years up to five years from the date of graduation.

Kingdom University may accept transfer students from other universities, but for 2026 they will have to start from foundation year.

These tests are optional but will strengthen your application. They are not a mandatory requirement for admission.

Application Process

Applications are submitted through the online application form at ku.edu.sa.

You will need: your high school certificate, a Ministry of Education equivalency letter (if your certificate is from outside Saudi Arabia), your English proficiency test result, and your national ID, Iqama, or passport.

After completing all the needed documents for your application and fulfilling all the criteria, the admissions team will inform you the decision of the admission committee. You will be contacted by email at admissions@ku.edu.sa.

Yes.  Please contact the admissions team at admissions@ku.edu.sa to discuss applying to multiple programs. Please do not complete multiple applications online.

Yes. Please contact the admissions team at admissions@ku.edu.sa as soon as possible if you wish to change your program choice.

Fees and Scholarships

Foundation Year: SAR 80,000 per year. Years 1 to 4: SAR 100,000 per academic year. All fees are subject to VAT for non-Saudi students. Payment schedule details will be available via the admissions team.

Merit-based scholarships for qualifying students will be announced in time via ku.edu.sa. Register your interest now to receive scholarship information as soon as it is released.

For 2026 there will not be an application fee.

Student Life and Campus

On-campus accommodation is not currently available. The admissions team can provide guidance on student housing options in Riyadh.

A student transport service is not currently available.

Students will have access to online learning resources, a student portal, e-learning platforms, and digital library services. Full details will be provided at enrolment.

Yes. Kingdom University is designed to be equipped with the laboratories and technical facilities required to support all engineering and computer science programs.

Most programs require approximately 120 credit hours, in line with ASU’s degree requirements. The exact number varies by program.

Yes. As a dual-degree graduate, you will hold both a Kingdom University degree accredited by the Saudi Ministry of Education, and an Arizona State University degree recognized by employers around the world. ASU graduates are highly sought after, 89% find a job or go on to postgraduate study within 90 days of graduation, and ASU ranks in the top 10 globally for tech company hires.

Yes. Students will benefit from internship opportunities with leading local and international companies.

Yes. All programs are designed by Arizona State University to meet international academic and professional standards, preparing students for careers in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
